Superhero Leadership Academy (SLA), a 501(c)(3), focused on youth leadership and education empowerment, leveraging strategic partnerships across Miami-Dade County to provide programming and resources that empower at-risk youth to become real-life "superheroes."

SLA has identified Miami-Dade County as largely divided both economically and geographically. There is a direct correlation between educational resources and economic growth. Our populations of service are under-funded public middle and high schools, all of which are classified as low-income communities/NSRA's by the County and recognized by Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) as the lowest performing schools in the district. Together for Children, has isolated 20 of the 27 middle and high school locations we serve as zip codes with concentrated gun-violence. At least 85% of the student population in our participating schools is eligible for the National Free and Reduced Lunch program, further demonstrating the need for economic development/training programs for youth in these communities.

Together, we can create a comprehensive educational ecosystem that results in personal enrichment, leading to better quality of life for all residents of Miami-Dade. When you empower students through leadership opportunities where they can set an example, their personal confidence improves. Beyond improving as student leaders, they also improve their communities. The basis of our organization is teaching professional skill-sets and talent development. We believe in strategic alliances for economic sustainability and mutually beneficial results, in providing job creation/training opportunities for under-served youth.
